The first episode does exactly what it needs to, it provides us with the main social dilemmas that each of the characters face - these surreal yet intriguing story arcs are fleshed out quite well and I hope the series keeps up the brilliant writing. The camera work of this episode is beautiful and helps each scene flow into the next without the viewer losing interest in the story.

The cast is impeccable and Winslet's accent is an absolute wonder to behold, the comforting and well-written script helps elevate the series into a level that I'm fairly surprised to see.
